河池市行政中心已于2021年12月由金城江区搬迁至宜州区，根据中共中央办公厅、国务院办公厅《关于加强新闻出版广播电视业管理的通知》（中办厅字〔1996〕37号）中“地区及地区直属机关所在的县市不分设广播电视播出机构，现分设的要予以合并。市辖区不设广播电视播出机构，乡镇不设电视播出机构”的要求，经宜州区人民政府研究同意，河池市宜州区融媒体中心拟于2024年6月30日前停办宜州区广播电视台，届时该台开办的宜州综合频道（《宜州新闻》电视节目所在频道）、综合广播（宜州广播电台，频率FM94.0MHz）也将同步停播。
宜州区广播电视台综合频道停播后，原在该频道播出的《宜州新闻》电视节目将调整到河池市广播电视台播出。宜州区广播电视台停办及相关频道停播的具体时间以上级主管部门批复的时间为准。
