东源县广播电视台为事业性质的宣传文化单位，以"办好广播电视”为根本职能，以促进东源社会经济文化发展为宗旨，树立科学发展观，致力打造一支政治强、业务精、纪律严、作风正的高素质广播电视队伍，为县委、县政府中心工作提供强大的舆论支持和精神动力。目前，在岗干部职工132人，其中乡镇广播站82人。台内设办公室、总编室、计划财务部、电视中心、广播中心、网络中心、经营中心，下设20个乡镇广播电视站。东源县广播电视台拥有1套电视频道和1套广播频率，转播34套电视节目，有线电视用户达45000多户，电视覆盖率达98%。
