2010年4月29日大连金州新区成立，在原大连金州广播电视台、大连开发区电视台（大连开视，DDATV）的基础上，两家广播电视传媒机构合并，于2010年5月成立大连金州新区广播电视台，英文简称JNARTV。大连金州新区广播电视台开办电视新闻综合频道、电视生活服务频道、FM104.3经济广播（与中央人民广播电台经济之声合办）、FM98.4故事广播以及正在建设的大连金州新区网络广播电视台——辽南视听网。
大连金州新区广播电视台全新改版开播。代表栏目：《金州新区新闻》、《为人民服务》、《姊妹海岸》、《中韩之桥》、《相亲大会》、《健康总动员》、《买卖黄金屋》、《才艺英雄会》、《第一社区》、《一品生活》、《天气预报》、《好品购物》等品牌自办栏目。
金州新区作为各类产业集聚、经济高速发展的现代化新城区，发展的历史进程需要记录者和见证者。对于未来的发展，新区人充满憧憬、信心满怀，金州新区广播电视台将以两台整合发展为契机，焕发精神、振奋斗志，以国际化视野、全球的高度，推动电视栏目宣传上台阶、上水平，以推动区域文化建设为己任，挖掘和培养精英人才，为大连金州新区在辽宁沿海经济带开发开放战略中发挥排头兵作用提供舆论宣传保障。
