桐庐县广播电视台于2005年5月撤局建台，是县委直属的正科级事业单位，负责全县广播电视新闻宣传工作，并承担着中央、省、市广播电视节目的无线发射任务。2007年10月搬入位于县城学圣路730号的新广电大楼。
桐庐县广播电视台共有3个电视频道（综合频道、影视频道、图文频道）2个广播频率（桐庐地区FM89.3,分水地区FM92.8）。广播电视新闻实行日播制，广播自办节目每天播出14.5个小时，电视自办节目每天播出16.5小时。自办广播专题《田园之声》、《与你同行》、《听说生活》、《新桐庐人之声》等20多个，电视专题《农民之友》、《春江视点》、《富春乡韵》、《春江少儿》等7个。桐庐县广播电视台每年在中央电视台新闻节目中用稿数量名列全省县级台前茅；每年均有30件以上的广播电视作品在全国和省市级新闻评比中获奖；其中新闻栏目《桐庐新闻》、《桐广新闻》多次在全省66家县级台新闻抽评中获得“双十佳”称号；2008年起，电视对农栏目《农民之友》连续三年被评为浙江省优秀电视对农栏目，广播对农栏目《田园之声》也两次获得全省优秀广播对农栏目称号；《影映富春·水样年华》和《农家越剧秀》两件作品获得中国电视戏曲“兰花杯”三等奖；2005年，电视民生栏目《大刘热线》获杭州市第三届名专栏称号；2009年，《晓炜讲故事》、《春江视点》获得了杭州市优秀栏目奖；《农家越剧秀》还获得杭州市优秀品牌活动建设奖。
