Introduction to 房山区电视台
北京市房山区广播电视中心是区政府直属的正处级全额拨款事业单位，承担着全区广播电视宣传任务，是经国家广电总局批准的唯一覆盖本行政区域的新闻媒体。
中心下设两家播出实体房山区人民广播电台和房山区电视台，两家下属经济实体北京方正广告公司和北京方明电视器材销售中心。目前中心内设办公室、总编室、时政要闻部、社会新闻部、电视专题部、广告经营部、广播电台直播部、广播电台专题部、事业发展部、技术科、播出部、财务科、后勤事务部、人事科、新媒体建设部、评审培训部、网络运营部等19个科（部）室，现有在岗人员216人。
房山广电中心目前已建成1.2万平方米的广播播控中心，拥有一个400平方米的标准演播厅和8个专业机房；广播机房拥有北京市郊区首个总控系统，数字化率达到100%，达到省级台播出标准。目前，中心资产总额已经达到6000多万元，综合实力在郊区同行业中名列前茅。经过多年的发展，房山区广播电视中心已成为区内现代化主流媒体，在房山区的经济和社会发展中发挥着不可替代的作用。
2003年，房山区广播电视中心被国家人事部、国家广电总局授予全国广播电影电视系统先进集体荣誉称号，受到国家广电总局、北京市广电局和房山区委区政府的隆重表彰；2004年，被北京市委宣传部、北京市人事局、北京市思想政治工作研究会评为北京市思想政治工作优秀单位； 2007年获国家广电总局科技创新奖；2006年至2009年，被首都精神文明建设委员会评为首都文明单位标兵。
