武进广播电视台现开办88.6MHz调频广播节目一套，开办新闻综合电视节目一套。有线电视网已建成光纤数字环形网，在传输广播、电视节目的同时，开展了因特网接入、多媒体数据等增值业务。
武进广播电视台按照数字化、网络化的要求，不断提高采、编、播装备水平。目前，广播电视台拥有标准化播出机房3个，其中电视播出机房开通了数字硬盘编播系统，实现了节目编播的全自动化和数字化，电台播出机房为数字化音频工作站；拥有发射机房1个，采用全固态发射机；拥有电视编辑室7个，节目制作室1个，节目上载机房1个，装备了9套有卡工作站、3套无卡工作站和1条MⅡ对编线；拥有120m2演播室1个，语录室1个，配音室1个；拥有技术先进的电视摄像机16台。初步实现了采、编、播装备的数字化和网络化。
有线电视网络已覆盖全区各镇、村、组，2003年实现村民小组“组组通”有线电视。区、镇、村三级全面实现光缆联网，同轴电缆分配网12000多公里。网络中心机房传送模拟电视节目30套、有线数字电视节目39套、调频广播节目1套。有线电视用户超过21万户，门樘入户率达88﹪。
