重庆市万州区广播电视台于2005年3月由原万州电视台、万州广播电台、万州有线电视台、万州广播电视报社4个事业单位合并组建的正处级自收自支事业单位，实行"台网一体"的管理模式，保留原有台号。内设管理机构、宣传业务机构、公共业务机构、产业经营机构18个。电视台认真贯彻执行党和国家关于宣传、广播电视工作的方针、政策和法规；办好广播频率、电视频道；承担广播电视节目发射、传输、覆盖技术服务等广播电视技术维护管理工作；负责统一经营管理全区广播电视传输网络业务工作；负责广播电视节目制作播出安全和辖区内网络传输安全。
