Padang TV adalah sebuah stasiun televisi lokal di Sumatra Barat. Stasiun televisi ini resmi mengudara sejak 1 Maret 2007 di Kota Padang yang diresmikan oleh Gubernur Sumatra Barat saat itu, Gamawan Fauzi, bersamaan dengan meluncurnya situs padang-today.com. Stasiun televisi ini merupakan anggota jaringan Jawa Pos TV.
Padang TV merupakan salah satu media informasi sekaligus menjadi aset Sumatra Barat. Padang TV terus bergerak dan berkembang untuk memperlihatkan jati dirinya. Dalam kaitan sebagai televisi lokal, Padang TV selalu komitmen memberikan kenyamanan tontonan bagi masyarakat Sumatra Barat yang sangat kuat dalam ruang lingkup kehidupan adat basandi syarak, syarak basandi kitabullah.
Sebagai stasiun televisi lokal pertama di Indonesia yang memperoleh izin dari Menkominfo, dan sebagai stasiun televisi terpopuler di Sumatra Barat (berdasarkan hasil survey Lembaga Survei Indonesia/LSI), maka Padang TV lebih memilih segmen sebagai televisi informasi berkonten lokal. Artinya, Padang TV lebih mengedepankan informasi sebagai segmennya.
