七台河广播电视中心位于黑龙江省东部,东经130°5748″,北纬45°4615″处于黑龙江省七台河市桃山区山湖路2号,现有职工320人.电视中心大楼共八层,占地面积3000平方米.电视局的主要职能是加强对七台河广播电视网络传输公司,电视报社的领导,把握舆论宣传导向,繁荣广大群众文化生活,及时、准确宣传贯彻党和政府各项方针政策，推动全市经济发展，加强全市电视事业的发展规划、各项政策法规的检查和落实工作。培养电视工程技术和新闻宣传专业人才，确保设备维护，调试和指导、管理和服务，适应广播电视事业改革发展的需要。价钱对有限电视的建设和管理。监督和检查各部门和用户对上级有关法规和执行情况，发挥技术指导和管理服务的作用。七台河电视台经广电部批准，于1988年11月16日正式开通。发射功率为1千瓦，现有节目套数为二套，覆盖面积为半径20公里，收视人口八十万，机构设置为：台长一名（局长兼），常务副台长一名，副台长二名。下设八部二室：新闻部、专题部、社教部、文体部、儿少部、技术部、制作部、播出部、办公室、总编室。七台河电视台的主要职责是：宣传贯彻党的路线方针和政策，发布新闻，传播党和政府的法令。当好党、政府和人民的喉舌，做党和政府与人民之间的桥梁和纽带，正确反映人民群众的呼声，指导人们日常生活，丰富人民群众的文化生活，为人民提供良好的精神食粮。
