【概况】1998～2003年，县广播电视事业在调整中发展。单位机构经历两次较大的变化，新闻事业快速发展。广播节目的录制和播出设备由传统的磁带录播升级到音频工作站，新闻节目的内容不断丰富，报道深度进一步拓展，新闻稿件质量明显提高，每年上行丽水电台新闻稿录用总得分列第一名（或一等奖）。电视节目图像的采集、编辑、播出设备完成由模拟化向数字化的更新换代，新闻和专题的内容更加贴近实际、贴近生活、贴近群众。《松阳新闻》每周播出4档，《时空漫步》电视专题栏目每周播出1档。有线电视网建设稳步推进，用户数逐年增加，每年递增10%左右。但由于广播电视事业受自身体制、财力以及地域等因素制约，其发展也相对迟缓。
