东阳市广播电视台成立于1998年，是在东阳市委宣传部直接领导下，以原东阳市人民广播电台、东阳电视台、东阳有线电视台为基础，经市委市政府批准成立的以广播电视为主的主流媒体机构。台本级设办公室、总编室、总技室、镇乡站管理办公室、广播中心、电视中心、网络中心、广告中心和广电中心筹建办公室，下辖18个镇乡（街道）广电站。
东阳市广播电视台担当主流媒体的引领责任，致力打造优质媒体平台和播出机构，业务涵盖内容制21媒体运营、互动传播、网络视频、影视娱乐、广告传媒等多个领域，拥有全省县（市）级一流的广播电视节目编辑、制作、播出和数字电视传输中心，开办了新闻综合、影视生活2个电视频道以及城市频道、新农村频道2套广播频率，播出平台共传输146套数字电视节目和14套高清数字电视节目，用户达25万户。
