烟台电视台成立于1984年7月1日，是烟台市的国家无线电视台，位于烟台市西炮台南路11号，占地面积23084平方米，现有职工280人，其中，中级以上专业技术人员占65%，拥有无线、有线两套传输系统和先进的电视采编设备、六讯道大型电视转播车，覆盖烟台市所有县市区和周边地市，覆盖人口约870多万；目前，办有新闻综合、经济科技、影视、公共四个频道，每天累计播出60多个小时，是构成胶东半岛地区的主要电视网源之一。
