济南商务频道是济南重要的电视频道之一。济南电视台成立于1984年12月，于1985年1月1日正式播出。现有16个部门，职工800余人，在全国率先实现了“网台分营”、有线台与无线台的合并。
2002年对全台中层干部实行第五轮竞争上岗聘任，同时全面推行频道专业化管理，对人员实行全员聘用合同制管理，对节目进行动态管理，实施全面的广告代理制，大力推行成本核算，全台的综合实力得到显著提高。现有新闻、都市、影视三个无线频道，娱乐、生活、商务、少儿四个有线频道。各套节目定位明确，形成了不同的收视热点，两个无线频道的整体收视率在济南地区名列前茅。
重点栏目;济南电视台从1994年起实行制片人制，新闻类节目《济南新闻》、《今晚20分》，新闻评论类节目《今晚特别点击》、纪录片类节目《正在进行》、谈话类节目《泉城夜话》、电视故事《真实再现》等，一直保持着较高的节目质量和稳定的收视群体，成为济南地区的名牌栏目。济南电视台的精品生产硕果累累：电视剧《济南战役》、《西出阳关》获全国“五个一”精品工程奖，电视系列报道《“书记大姐”李淑敏》荣获中国新闻奖一等奖等等。
