新疆电视台少儿频道是新疆电视台开办的专业少儿频道（xjtv—12）。频道秉承“尊重”、“支持”、“引导”、“快乐”的理念，肩负“引领成长、塑造未来”的历史重任，为我区各族少年儿童的健康成长营造一个良好的视听环境，使每个孩子都有一个最佳的人生开端。
少儿频道（2004年12月26日开播） 新疆电视台少儿频道是新疆电视台开办的专业少儿频道（xjtv—12）。频道秉承“尊重”、“支持”、“引导”、“快乐”的理念，肩负“引领成长、塑造未来”的历史重任，为我区各族少年儿童的健康成长营造一个良好的视听环境，使每个孩子都有一个最佳的人生开端。新疆电视台少儿频道自筹备到开播以来，得到了局、台领导的全力支持。在自治区各方面的关怀支持下，在频道采编人员的共同努力下，各项工作运转正常。该频道频道采用维、汉、哈三种语言交叉滚动播出。频道每天播出14个小时，其中维、哈各4个小时，汉语6个小时，（每天从10点至22点维、汉、哈三种语言采用交叉滚动各播出4个小时，22点至24点为汉语影视剧时间），所有节目正播4个小时，重播8个小时，即正播一天，重播2天。晚间（22点至24点）黄金剧没有安排重播。
