山东广播电视台少儿频道（SDTV-9）于2005年9月15日开播。频道以青春时尚快乐健康为基调，以娱乐休闲引领社会良好风气为主题，以“天天向上 塑造未来”为口号，以服务省内广大的少年儿童为工作目标，打造专属于孩子们的精品栏目，如《童年不同样》、《国学小名士》、《雏鹰少年》、《漂亮宝贝巧手妈》等自制栏目。作为省内唯一省级少儿频道，秉承着“只有创新是永远的”这一理念，频道努力向前发展，目前已实现山东省内17个地级市140个区县的全覆盖，并已实现了全天24小时播出。
