诸城市广播电视台始建于上世纪50年代的诸城县广播站。1987年经山东省广播电视厅批准，正式改名为诸城人民广播电台。1990年3月份经国家广播电影电视部批准、11月份正式挂牌成立诸城电视台。
诸城电视台拥有新闻频道、生活频道、影视频道、娱乐频道、党建农科频道5个频道，每天播出节目65个小时。主要开设《诸城新闻》、《龙城方圆》、《法制经纬》、《经济生活》、《中天资讯》、《百姓健康》等6档自办节目。诸城人民广播电台拥有诸城广播FM99.8、诸城广播FM102.2两大频率，每天播出节目17个小时。主要开设《诸城新闻》和《行风在线》、《空中金桥》、《今日有约音乐贺卡》、《浪漫情歌》、《点歌台》等12档自办录播直播节目。2005年5月，电台启用了先进的电脑自动化音频工作站，实现了广播电脑数字化录制和播放节目，在省内外同级中，较早地跨入了应用广播高新技术成果的先进行列。2006年电视台引进了电视节目后期制作的非线编数字设备，实现了电视节目制播数字化。
