广东广播电视台移动频道是广东电视台最先建立起来的数字无线频道，开播于2004年11月1日，由广东数字移动电视有限公司负责运营。
广东电视台移动频道采用数字移动传播技术，通过无线发射的方式实现空中覆盖，将广播电视节目和多媒体信息实时传送到移动数字电视用户的接收机上。尽管车辆在高速行驶，但安装其上的数字电视接收机仍能接收到清晰的图像和声音。
2017年，广东广播电视台已制定广东移动频道转型升级为4K频道节目编排、技术和运营方案，省新闻出版广电局已委托国家新闻出版广电总局广播科学研究院组织邀请中国工程院院士丁文华等业内知名专家对方案进行了论证。
