武术世界频道隶属河南电视台，是由广电总局批复的一个面向全国播出的数字频道。2006年8月28日正式播出，内容以武术专业知识为主，是目前全国唯一的武术专业频道。
武术世界频道旨在弘扬中华民族优秀的传统文化，挖掘中国武术的丰富内涵，展示武术文化的独特魅力和现代美感。并依托电视传媒优势，整合优势资源，力邀武林名家，开设比武擂台，报道特色武校、跟踪武林盛会，力争让观众在获得深入、系统的、专业信息的同时，更愿意积极参与节目，力争一展身手。
武术世界频道将紧紧围绕武术爱好者及体育爱好者这一特定群体设定内容，暂定每天首播三个小时，每天滚动五次，全天共15个小时播出，目前暂设五个大版块。分别为：武林英雄帖、名派真功、说武论道、武林擂台、武侠备忘录。
