上海炫动卡通卫视是经过国家广播电视总局和上海市委宣传部批准，通过卫星传送覆盖全国的专业电视卡通频道。该频道由上海六家主流传媒机构联合投资组建，属于国有大型电视传媒机构。于2003年3月22日开播。炫动卡通卫视以贴近受众收视习惯、符合广告投放规律的节目编排方法，全天播出18小时各类动画剧场、资讯节目、教育节目；几大主题动画剧场各具特色，定位鲜明，锁定不同目标受众，推出各种类型的优秀动画片。
2019年1月1日，该频道与哈哈少儿频道整合为上海广播电视台哈哈炫动卫视。
