亳州都市频道是亳州电视台建于1985年，当年获国家广电部批准， 9月18日正式播出。整体上划为地市级电视台之后，我台投入大量资金更新设备，购买了一批摄像机，充实了我台的硬件设施，2006年，实施了技术设备的数 字化改造工程，加快了技术创新的步伐。先后投入300多万元，上马新闻非线性编辑系统，改造了500平方米的七楼演播大厅，新建了100多平方米的播控中 心，扩容了我台农村频道10千瓦全固态电视发射机，实现了节目制作播出设备从前期拍到后期制作，从播出平台到传输系统的数字化改造，实现了硬盘播出、采编 播一体化、办公自动化、非编工作站建立安立实施等创新。
现代媒体竞争的落脚点是技术设备的竞争，提升技术的含金量有利于事业的发展，在市委市政府的支持和我台员工的努力下，我台购置了大型六讯道数字电视直播车，使技术设备与众多城市电视台实现对接，也为丰富电视节目提供了硬件支撑。
