南昌电视台，创建于1985年5月1日，150多米的发射塔巍然耸立在南昌市政府经济大楼之上，节目覆盖全市四县五区和周边县市，如高安、丰城、永修等，收视人口达1000万以上。主要栏目包括：《开车看房》、《直播南昌》、《新闻说报》、《怎么办》、《都市热线》、《政法报道》。
南昌电视台创建于1985年5月1日，150多米的发射塔巍然耸立在南昌市政府经济大楼之上，节目覆盖全市四县五区和周边县市，如高安、丰城、永修等，收视人口达一千万以上。南昌电视台发射功率为10千瓦，是从意大利引进的先进设备。四套节目具有“无线发送、有线入网、多路微波”三重覆盖的特点。自办节目丰富多彩、制作手段先进，在黄金时间播出新闻、电视剧、电影、广告和其他文艺节目，深受广大观众的喜爱。2012年5月，根据相关规定，南昌电视台和南昌广播电台合并成立南昌广播电视台(正处级)，同时与南昌广电局分离。
