六安市广播电视台位于六安市梅山南路，开播于1984年，是六安市最具影响力的强势传播媒介，拥有新闻综合、公共、都市生活、少儿教育四个频道，强大的采编播阵容，省内一流的技术、设备体系；播出手段先进，节目丰富多彩，在观众中拥有极高的口碑和不可替代的地位。
新闻综合频道每日播出时间1020分钟，其中转播中央台《新闻联播》30分钟，省台《安徽新闻联播》20分钟。自办节目主要有《六安新闻联播》、《新闻视点》、《现代农业在六安》、《机关党建》、《效能追踪》、《天南地北六安人》。宣传覆盖面：以有线网络下传节目，主要覆盖六安城区和五县五区城关镇及有线电视联网的乡镇。
栏目介绍
《六安新闻联播》是六安电台最具权威性的时政新闻类栏目，六安所辖五县转播，是六安电视台暴露频次最高、到达率最高的栏目。
《新闻视点》是我台新闻综合频道的老牌电视栏目，以重大社会新闻的深度为主要内容。
《天南地北六安人》该栏目是一档全面展示我市在外人才故事的栏目，每档15分钟。
《效能追踪》该栏目是一档曝光性栏目，由效能办主办，电视台承办，每周一19：50首播，每期10分钟。
