台灣綜合台，成立於2001年，前身為台灣音樂台，原為一獨立的音樂頻道，簡稱台音或台音台，由阿里山衛星電視國際股份有限公司創立。早期大多是閩南語歌曲的MV播送，也有重播中視閩南語綜藝節目等外製外包節目。
自2006年，本公司重新定位營運走向，引進戲劇、運動、綜藝與流行音樂等等全方位節目內容，於2008年正式變更回台灣綜合台，目前仍播送多元且豐富性節目，追求高品質收視內容，以服務台灣收視民眾。
未來，本台引進更多精彩節目內容，配合數位匯流，提供更優質服務給我們收視大眾，我們會更謹慎的態度跟感恩的心，創造新視野。
